Amelia Shipyard "The Superman of Shipyards

  

Our Amelia Shipyard facilities are a combined +200-acres of mixed-use Industrial Sites located in Amelia, LA on Bayou Boeuf and Bayou Black near the intersection of the Intracoastal Canal (ICW) suitable for vessels of any size or air draft, capable of achieving a bottom draft of less than 20’ (6m). This facility includes office space, waterfront services, and bulk headed waterfront dock with easy, unobstructed access to the Intracoastal Canal (ICW), Bayou Chene, Avoca Island Cutoff and the Gulf of Mexico. We are 2 miles from US Hwy. 90 (Interstate 49 Corridor) and have complete access to Rail Infrastructure at our East Yard.


Our site features:   

  • +3,000 linear ft (+900 m) of heavy industrial waterfront with controlled depth of at least 16’ (4.9m)  
  • +2,000,000 ft² (200,000 m²) of high strength gravel packed lay down/storage yard
  • Dock space for Vessels Repairs, Reactivations, Conversions, Upgrades, Modifications
  • Dock space Mobilizations & Demobilizations with shore power and water connections
  • Machine shop services including steel and aluminum fabrication & welding
  • Mechanical, structural, electrical, electronic, control, & joiner system services
  • Tool Room, office space, restrooms, break room, & conference room

  • 210-ton Crawler Crane, 110-ton Crawler Crane, 30-ton Hydraulic Rough Terrain

We offer short- or long-term storage available in fresh water and storm safe ports. Facilities are manned, gated, lighted and have surveillance cameras.
